Niche Investments is an independent specialist investment house, which offers a full range of products and services for financial intermediaries and their high net worth clients.

The Financial Services Board registered financial services provider is a division of Grant Thornton Capital, which was established 16 years ago. GTC has been built into one of South Africa’s leading and largest independent financial services and employee benefit consulting practices.

Grant Thornton Capital is part of Grant Thornton, the fifth largest business consulting and auditing organization in South Africa, the same position it holds internationally.

The group offers specialist financial services and a diverse range of solutions in the areas of employee benefits and private client wealth management.

The new business is a natural extension to the current group, which has a tried and tested advice model and a comprehensive wealth management process, coupled with a solid relationship with hand-picked fund managers, who currently manage R3bn in assets.

The underlying investment philosophy is based on specialist mandates, backed-up by multi-manager investment principles and qualitative and dynamic processes, all aimed at providing a niche and exclusive retail investment product and service.

We focus on a limited number of key offerings that are designed to add value to intermediaries and their clients. First and foremost we are a CPI+ house.
